I usually make 2 quarts of ice cream (1 half gallon) at a time. When I make it with just extract, I use a little over 2 tsp. of extract and it ends up pretty tasty. I think I'll make 2 quarts with 1 bean and 1.5 tsp of extract. I'll freeze it in two containers so that you and Carter can enjoy half of the result.
