While some idiotic naifs are prancing about in stadiums handing out food and teaching children, rescuing pets and helping each other, it’s about time someone got us back on track about what’s really important here. At least Senator Boxer has enough responsibility and clarity of vision to ignore all of the touchy-feely “coming together” and “helping others through a tragedy” bullshit and do the right thing: blame stuff on the President. God bless you, Senator Boxer. You are a True American Hero.

p.s. the ability of the state’s National Guard to respond to disasters like the fires has been compromised by people who complained that pre-emptive brush clearing fires were smelly and put ash in their swimming pools.
